Cleaning Influencer Mrs Hinch Shares Heartfelt Tribute to Late Father Alan Hinchliffe
Mrs Hinch, real name Sophie Hinchliffe, recently shared her sadness and struggles after a great loss. In April, her dad Alan passed away suddenly while he was sleeping. Mrs Hinch, known for sharing her cleaning tips on Instagram, posted about her grief in May, saying that her life had completely changed. Her dad was very special to her, and she even named one of her sons, Lennie Alan James, after him.
On Friday, September 13, Mrs Hinch turned to her followers for support. She posted a video where she was visibly crying and explained how she thought she was coping but was still finding it very hard. She had been keeping busy by helping a friend move house and cleaning the place, but a dream brought back the deep sadness of losing her dad.
She told her followers that she doesn’t understand how grief can come back so strong when you think you are doing better. She explained how she Googled "visitation dreams" at 5 a.m. and asked her followers for advice on how to feel okay again, as she feels overwhelmed by her grief every few days.
In July, Mrs Hinch spoke for the first time after her dad’s passing. She shared how grief has been very hard for her, and how it feels like it has taken the ground from beneath her feet. She described feeling broken and confused, like nothing makes sense anymore. She shared a photo of herself with her sons Ronnie and Lennie and said that living without her dad feels extremely heavy and difficult.
She thanked her followers for their love and support, even though she hasn’t been able to reply to everyone. Mrs Hinch said she is very grateful for all the kind messages she has received.
