Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl Announces Birth of Baby Girl Outside His Marriage
Dave Grohl, the lead singer of the Foo Fighters, recently shared some personal news on his Instagram page. He announced that he has become a father again to a baby girl, but the child was born outside of his marriage to his wife, Jordyn Blum.
In his statement, Grohl wrote, "I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her."
He continued by saying, "I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together."
Grohl, who was also a member of the famous band Nirvana, did not share any details about the mother of his new daughter. His representative did not provide any further comments beyond the Instagram post.
Grohl and his wife, Jordyn Blum, have been married since 2003. Blum is a director, and the couple has three daughters together: Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10. Over the years, they have kept their family life mostly private but have occasionally appeared together at public events. They were last seen together at Wimbledon in London this July during the Foo Fighters’ European tour.
Grohl’s recent announcement has surprised many fans, but he has asked for understanding and privacy for his family as they navigate this situation.
